I could never get a perfect finish to cut tiles, even a wet diamond blade cutter chips the edge a bit I find. That is until I came up with the idea of using my diamond sharpening pads. I got mine from toolstation but similar can be found at screwfix and others. The yellow grade is great for taking the tile cut edge back a fraction to remove little chips and get the perfect finish. Used wet it doesn't clog and the diamond makes short work of removing material, plus it doesn't wear out.
